After a few months. at least one of the wire connections goes out, and a whole new harness must be purchased. Also, the hi hat cable needs to be much longer. It's often a tight reach to connect., and that makes the cable short out sooner.

I have an Alesis Nitro kit that I had bought 2nd hand, but it was acting weird. If you hit the snare it would play the tom, if you hit the tom it would sound as the crash. I bought this snake cable, which I promptly received in four days, and everything is working wonderfully! I am very happy with my purchase. This site, which I found while googling, was great!
