Please Note: These are now replaced with an aftermarket tweeter that works just the same, it does not have the heat sink.
- It may be necessary to move and cut the large spade connector in the middle so it fits your 1/8” slip on connector.
- BX5A models like the BX5A D2, it may be necessary to remove the heat sink from your original tweeters and install onto the new tweeter, however this is not 100% needed.

The part I received had a silver heatsink as opposed to the black on the original and in the product photo. While the heat sink initially concerned me, the part installed identically to the original and sounds very close to the original as far as my ears can tell.
